Lincoln College Careers Expo

HGL Systems participated in the Lincoln College Your Future Careers Expo on March 5th, 2025. The event provided an opportunity to connect students with local businesses and organisations, and we were excited to engage with students eager to learn about potential career paths.

We had the chance to meet a wide range of students, all showing genuine interest in our work. We were impressed by the insightful questions they asked and the enthusiasm they displayed. In addition, we collected several CVs for consideration for future opportunities at HGL.

Our team, many of whom are alumni of Lincoln College, were proud to represent HGL and share more about our work. The team included:
• Neil Sheeran, Electronics Design Engineer
• Kyle Cassar, Principal Electronics Design Engineer
• Josh Cooke, Mechanical Design Engineer
• Deina Cassar, Buyer

We were also briefly joined by Owen Wing, who is currently on day release working towards his Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. It was great to see Owen balancing his studies with his role at HGL, and we’re proud to support him in his professional development.

Overall, the event was a success. Lincoln College did a fantastic job organising it, and we appreciated the opportunity to connect with the next generation of engineers and innovators. We look forward to participating again next year!
