PCB Layout

HGL Systems uses Cadence PCB Layout tools to create multi-layer boards (20+) including full integration with mechanical constraints. HGL Systems also has multiple reliable high-quality partners who can manufacture the resultant PCBs.

Mechanical Integration

HGL Systems’ multi-disciplinary teams work closely to design and realise complex electronics tightly coupled to mechanical enclosures including full conduction cooling, environmental protection and vibration considerations.

HGL System’s design team has a wealth of experience gained over 15+ years of developing HGL Dynamics’ wide range of Data Acquisition, Networking, Power, and Computing products as well as providing design and manufacture services for many external customers ranging from small simple regulator boards for vintage automotive applications, to display drones and complex boards and systems for the Aerospace and Defence industries. To date the team has successfully developed over 500 designs and realised these into working product.

Key to the success of the Electronics Team is the close coupling with the Mechanical Design, PCB Assembly and System Build and Test teams who all reside in a single building at our Lincoln site.

Further extension of the company’s capabilities is provided by the FIrmware (embedded CPU and FPGA) and Software (C/C++ Application development) teams located at HGL Dynamics’ Godalming site.

These capabilities mean that HGL Systems can offer and experienced full production design and build capability for almost any requirement.
