We were approached by a UK Aero Engine Manufacturer to design and manufacture a bespoke product for use on a Large Gas Turbine Enngine and Pylon operating during a major development test program. The resultant Front End has become a major success and over 130 of them have been sold and are in use in Europe and the US on or very close to large Gas Turbine Engines.
Design
Working closely with the customer, we outlined a specification that fully met their data acquisition requirements and time frame by utilising some of our expertise from similar projects.
Metalwork
Extruded anodised aluminium enclosure with T-bar slots to allow multiple units to interlock.
Electronics
Supports multimodule synchronisation to create a system with a massive channel count whilst maintaining integrity of data against a common timebase.
